Dr. Mala Kaul, MD, MHS

FOUNDER AND ceo OF INTEGRAHEALTH
board certified rheumatologist

I created IntegRAHealth after 20 years of practicing medicine and seeing patients with autoimmune disease get inadequate care in an insurance-based healthcare system. The management of autoimmune and rheumatic diseases requires time, careful listening, and coordinated care that can be difficult to provide in traditional models of healthcare.

I believe in combining modern medical advances with integrative approaches that meet patients where they are. My role is not just to treat symptoms but to educate, guide, and partner with you on your health journey.

At IntegRAHealth, your health journey is our deep commitment, as we provide Integrative Care with steadfast Integrity.

Dr. Mala Kaul standing and holding a frame that says "There are more than 100 reasons to see Dr. Mala Kaul".

After more than 20 years in practice, I saw the gaps in care for patients with autoimmune disease. Rheumatic conditions demand time, careful listening, and coordination across specialties—yet the system rarely allows physicians to put the whole patient first.

I founded IntegRAHealth to change that.

I believe in treating every patient the way I would want my own family to be treated.

I respect each person’s values and approach to health. Patients look to me for guidance, and I aim to provide thoughtful options—supporting lifestyle changes and non-medication strategies when possible, while also using the best of modern medicine to help them reach remission with the least necessary exposure to medications.

I chose rheumatology because I value the breadth of internal medicine and the way autoimmune diseases touch multiple systems of the body. Rheumatology is detective work: even with advanced tests and imaging, the most powerful tools remain a careful history and thorough physical exam—too often overlooked in rushed visits.

My passion is teaching patients, earning their trust, and making sure they feel heard and supported throughout their care.

IntegRAHealth was built to be the kind of practice I always wished existed for my patients—a place where each person feels seen, understood, and cared for as a whole.
